[Verse 1] From bursting stars to burning stone Creation screamed after it'd groaned Life emerged through fire and strife Claws and hunger carved the life Peace — a dream we construct Built from blood, from rubble dust Nothing given, few things stay Only what the strong persuades [Bridge 1] If you lay your arms, they bare their teeth They’ll take your life while you seek peace A few beasts growl and we must react Being like wolves, howl at the pack [Chorus] So if the world is war I will fight with the weapons I have This heart, my soul, on burning paths Free yourself from evil's hand Rise as warriors We're born to bleed, but not to kneel With love like fire, and hearts like steel [Verse 2] Clarity cuts through the lie The truths we love are bound to die Conventions tame what essence breaks But lies breed war when reason shakes Some men burn the world for fun Not for gain, just to watch it come undone But even angels wear the scars Of battles fought in shadowed hearts [Bridge 2] No fate can chain what's born for free Pain ain't a curse — it’s a crown, you see The evil men force good to kill But silence feeds the devil’s will [Chorus] So if the world is war I will fight with the weapons I have This heart, my soul, on burning paths Free yourself from evil's hand Rise as warriors We're born to bleed, but not to kneel With love like fire, and hearts like steel [Verse 3] Marching for gods or for cash and control We die the same in the devil’s patrol Mines in your soul, set to explode Pride in my chest, but I'm ready to go You fight for profit, I fight to protect What’s righteous, it ain’t always what we expect Truth gets buried in state-made lies While power drinks from the blood it buys [Bridge 3] Death and life, fame and fall Pain and pleasure, riches and all They hit the good and the wicked the same No blessing, no fail, just part of the game What you call a curse ain't breakin' your soul Can't stop you from stayin' kind, and bold But those who help, though weak they seem They change the world, they plant the dream So if the world is war, what're you ready for? Let’s rise together, just one law: Help one soul — and you help all [Chorus] So if the world is war I will fight with the weapons I have This heart, my soul, on burning paths Free yourself from evil's hand Rise as warriors We're born to bleed, but not to kneel With love like fire, and hearts like steel

Song explanation · EN

From the beginning, life on Earth arose through fire and destruction, accompanied by a fierce struggle for survival. It is a false idea to believe that without humanity, the world would live in peace. Peace is a dream built at the cost of blood, with a constant and conscious commitment to its realization and maintenance: it is not the natural condition of life. Humans, like all animals, are predators of humanity ("Homo homini lupus"), as Thomas Hobbes, and Plautus before him, argued; in fact, it only takes a few men, behaving like wolves, to convince others to become wolves in order to defend themselves. No peace can be perpetual without an effort to deter predators. So the world is not at war due to exceptional circumstances, but the world itself is a war (especially as long as we confuse pacifism with do-goodism, pretending that "wolves" do not exist). If so, I will not shy away from the battle, but will fight with the weapons I possess: my heart, my soul, even walking paths of flame, to free myself from the clutches of evil. Free as a warrior (and not a soldier), because I was born to bleed rather than to kneel before wickedness. By freeing ourselves from the logic of evil and the search for an enemy in others, we must not surrender to the injustices we experience and the banality of evil (Hannah Arendt's). We must fight to defend those we love and also the truth: lies generate the misunderstandings that unleash wars, that cloud reason. I cannot passively accept the suffering justified by lies. Because silence nourishes the will of the wicked. Pain is not a curse, but a crown for the innocent. If the world, life, means war, what are you willing to do? United, we fight with one law: help one soul and you have helped them all. Fighting does not necessarily mean killing. Killing also means rejecting internal struggle, confrontation, due to weak arguments. Accepting injustice, the abuse of the wicked over the innocent, the vilification of conquerors, means instead kneeling before evil.

Song explanation · IT
